The Air Jordan I pair of sneakers was considered a breakthrough in basketball shoe design which are designed by Peter Moore and released in 1985. The Air Jordan I was the first shoe to be worn in the NBA with multiple colors. Nike released many colors of the Air Jordan 1 something that revolutionized the sneaker industry. The Air Jordan 1 was released in 23 different colorways if you include all samples. Many were extremely limited and exclusive to certain areas, but no matter what corner of the globe you were in, there was a huge demand for the original Air Jordans.

The Air Jordan 1 (I) Retro 2001 White / White Midnight Navy are part of the 2001 Japan editions, which were released across a few stores in Japan on New Years Eve 2001. They are one of four colorways, and between the four, only 3,000 pairs were released. These truly give meaning to the word high top, as they feature a much higher cut than the typical Air Jordan 1’s (I). They feature an all white leather upper with blue accents including the sock lining, Air Jordan logo, and outsole. They also come with a chrome Jumpman logo piece, as did many of the Air Jordan 1’s (I).
