Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Melo White / University Blue Metallic Silver

The Air Jordan XII was first released in 1996, this model set a new technology in shoe design and direction in style, featuring zoom air, gold plated steel lace loops and embossed lizard skin pattern. The shoe is widely considered to be the most durable and sturdy shoes from the Air Jordan line ever made.

The Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Melo (White / University Blue Metallic Silver) were releasd on May 15, 2004, and retailed for $135. A womens version was released in the sae colorway, but many people dont know that there are two distinct models, one for each gender. These feature a white leather upper, alongside blue accents, which can be seen on the tongue, inner lining, and outsole. The outsole features a modified herringbone pattern which provides great traction. The shoes designed is modeled after the Nisshoki which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century women's dress boot. It features stitched leather which radiates outward like sun rays, and this theme extends all the way to the arch of the shoe. The rands on the side panels feature a lizard skin print, ala the Air Jordan 2 (II).
