Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Retro White / Black Deep Forest Green Light Graphite

The Air Jordan 14 was released in 1998, designed by Tinker Hatfield together with Mark Smith. The design was inspired by Michaels car, the Ferrari 550 M. A great stylish design and a great shoe for Michael to end his NBA career in. The Air Jordan 14 was the first to have silver tips on the laces, which also had a Jumpman logo. Each pair had a total of seven jumpman logo’s, which together equals out to fourteen (XIV).

The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Retro White / Black Deep Forest Green Light Graphite was released on October 22, 2005, and retailed for $150. They feature an all white leather upper along with perforations which run diagonally across the upper, which act as a source of ventilation for the bearers foot. They also feature green accents, including the forest green seen on the support wraps along the midsole area. The sleek design is actually designed after Michael Jordan's Ferrari F355F1, and similarities can be seen in the shield shaped Jumpman badge, the Rossa Corsa shank plate and midsole air vent. Other specifications include low profile Zoom Air units, a carbon fibre sheath, medial air vents, a phylon midsole, and a quick lace system. They make great basketball sneakers, as the herringbone pattern on the outsole provides great traction and grip.
