The Air Jordan XX2/XXII released on March 24, 2007, was designed by Dwayne Edwards. The Air Jordan 22 was inspired by F 22 Raptor Strike Fighter. Some technical features of the shoe including a new metallic mesh for ventilation, an updated visible, interchangeable independent podular system, the Air Jordan camouflage pattern printed in reflective 3M, and an updated traction system, based on an army general's stripes.
