1987 1988 was an great year for Michael Jordan. Air Jordan 3 IIIMj won the Slam Dunk contest, All Star MVP, All Defensive First Team and Defensive Player of the Year. Through all this success, he was wearing the Air Jordan 3. The Air Jordan III was designed by Tinker Hatfield. It was the first Air Jordan to feature a visible air unit on the heel, the new Jumpman logo, an elephant print trim, and tumble leather for a luxury look.


1994 brought on a new episode of Air Jordans, the Retro. One of the first Retros to release is the Air Jordan 3 (III) 1994 Retro White / Cement Grey which released first in 1988. This particular release came out with a over sized Retro card, and a unique box with career highlights.
