The Air Jordan IV shoe designed once again by Tinker Hatfield and was first released in 1989. It was the first Jordan shoe that released on the global market, with some exceptions. The Air Jordan IV cushioning sole and design helped to make the shoe one of the international best sellers. The Air Jordan IV was the first in the line that had an over molded mesh. The reason for this is, the consumer would think the shoe was made cheap. So what Tinker did was dip the mesh in a soft plastic and blew air through it to clear out the plastic in between.
