The Air Jordan IX model was released in November 1993 and was the first Air Jordan model release after his retirement. This sneaker was originally created in the form of baseball cleats and like the Air Jordan VIIs and VIII model's, the Air Jordan IX model featured an inner sock sleeve and nubuck accents. The sole featured different symbols and languages of different countries. On the back of the Air Jordan 9 you will see a “Rising Sun” with the Jumpman logo.


Nicknamed Flint Grey or French Blue by many Air Jordan collectors, the Air Jordan 9 (IX) Retro White, French Blue Flint Grey was originally released in 2002. It featured a simple yet stylish color way to go along with the Jordan IX sleek design.
