The Air Jordan IX model was released in November 1993 and was the first Air Jordan model release after his retirement. This sneaker was originally created in the form of baseball cleats and like the Air Jordan VIIs and VIII model's, the Air Jordan IX model featured an inner sock sleeve and nubuck accents. The sole featured different symbols and languages of different countries. On the back of the Air Jordan 9 you will see a “Rising Sun” with the Jumpman logo.
With the different styles of new Air Jordan's released on the market, you can always see the new shoes appeared on the basketball games. Except for the 23 have printed on the back, the Air Jordan 9 have printed the individual numbers for different players such as Kendall Gill, and Mitch Richmond.
